Luuk Ploeg is a DJ/producer who grew up in the outskirts of Amsterdam. At the age of 16 he was first introduced to house music when visiting Strafwerk festival in Amsterdam. From that moment he was sold to the driving beats, fat basslines and the groovy drums. After DJ’ing for four years, he decided that it was time to start making his own music at the age of 22. After one year of producing, he got accepted into the infamous Herman Brood Academy in Utrecht. His sound is mainly inspired by the likes of ANOTR, Toman and Inland knights. His sound mainly focusses on the minimal side of house music. 

Luuk released music in the past year on Rawsome and in recent times Luuk was able to produce music which has used in sets by some of the major artists in the scene. Through his producing he was able to get gigs all over the Netherlands at venues as the Lovelee, Toffler, Chicago Social Club & the Patronaat.

With his own style and vibe Luuk is trying to make a name for himself in the scene, while staying true to his preferences. In the coming years he will explore and expand his expertise at the Herman Brood Academy. A bright future is ahead for Luuk in his producing and artist career.
